Lui Investment Limited is a diverse company investing and implementing projects across all business facets. Back in 2014 we were incorporated and started our first business in manufacturing FMCGs. Since then we have grown to extend our operations across various sectors, especially in property business.We take pride in our growing and dynamic team which has local and international experience across various sectors and each of our team members has serviced reputable companies in our areas of expertise.We boast a multi-sectoral collective experience of more than 20 years, with innovative marketing strategies, commitment to personal relationships and aggressive need to meet our clients’ demands and expectations. Mary Shio, Managing Director has experience of over 30 years in doing business in Tanzania, most of it in property business. For years, she has undertaken property business where she acquired a lot of land, worked with Government Authorities to do land planning, obtained title deeds and disposed the properties gradually. Eventually she expanded her practice by taking on properties owned by third parties, putting them in the market and closing deals by successfully disposing hundreds of properties entrusted to her. She is a steadfast leader, mentor, and coordinator with track record of steering improvement projects, building and guiding top-performing teams, and optimizing internal operations.

Amalia Lui (LL.B & LL.M), Director & Senior Property Manager is a knowledgeable, experienced, dedicated and solution oriented individual with twelve years’ experience in doing business within and outside of Tanzania. She has a strong background in legal practice where she has advised on projects in multiple jurisdictions including East & West Africa and Europe. Taking into account her strong legal background, she has worked on real estate transactions for several years before she ventured into the property management role where she has managed properties on behalf of reputable companies, including managing telecommunication towers on behalf of a telecom tower company. She has assisted companies to maintain a productive landlord-tenant relationship, implemented repairs on sites, provide feedback to owners of the property, managed leases and renewals, resolved disputes between property owners and tenants and/or with third parties, including boundary disputes with neighboring properties, assisted our clients’ in supplier vetting processes and in disposition and acquisition of assets, including acting as a government liaison officer on behalf of our clients. She has wide expertise and good contacts across various Government authorities which have come in handy in assisting our clients.

Jacqueline Shio (BBF & MIB), Director & Property Manager has long experience in the banking sector and holds her Masters’ Degree in International Business. From a very young age, she has learned from our Managing Director what it takes to succeed in business and has put her knowledge into practice. On a daily basis, Jacq manages all properties that are entrusted to our care. She is in constant contact with tenants ensuring that our client’s tenants are well catered for. Also, she has good connections who assist with disposition of properties that our clients wish to sell, be it an industrial, office or residential areas. While at our company, she has worked with multiple clients on enormous property related projects. Also, she identifies new markets/opportunities and spearheads establishment of business relations with the potential clients.

Bibiana Shio (BA in PSPA & MBA), Business Relations Manager has an eye for business and has a knack of identifying new opportunities. Also, She has excellent communication skills hence she manages our customers and ensures that our team meets the customer’s expectations. Due to her negotiation skills and calmness, she leads all negotiations between the potential tenants or purchasers of our client’s properties. She is able to close any deal regardless of how stressful the environment might be. Due to her temperament, She is our coordinator across various departments, manages our employees’ relations, manages our client’s expectations and keeps our clients’ relations positive and production. In addition, she has an eye for detail and décor and works with our clients to improve the appearance and nature of their properties to attract well-paying tenants and high-end purchasers.

Richard Shio (BScEcon & MIT), Property Manager has Economics and International Trade background having worked for reputable local and international research projects, where his role included undertaking of research, analysis of data, preparation and presentation of reports. He has a good understanding of business and trading activities. At our company, he leads and manages our field team. He is constantly in the field and does physical visits to all properties entrusted to our company to check how they are being managed and handles all on site demands. He is ever available and online to assist on any issue that might need our attention in the field. He travels regularly to visit even the most interior parts of the country where our clients need eyes on site. Also, for properties which require assistance or intervention from Government Authorities, Richard is your guy. He will assist throughout the process while keeping good relations between the Government Authorities and our clients.

Philipo Mayalla (BAC), Assistant Property Manager has leasing and property maintenance knowledge and possesses solid record of managing properties for our clients. He has experience in engaging, and dealing with vendors, landlords, tenants and tradespeople in the day to day activities in residential and commercial properties, including telecommunication towers. He works collaboratively with the Senior Property Manager to support creation of tenancy agreements, negotiation of renewals and other contractual terms, manages and ensures that the property portfolio and associated reporting activities are implemented to the client’s satisfaction. Also, he is responsible for doing site visits and inventory checks while being supported by our land agent consultants.

Claud Simon Ganda, Logistics Officer is our go to person on all matters which require immediate and urgent intervention at the properties that we manage. He assists to identify, rectify and replace any faulty equipment at our clients’ premises which have been rented out. His main job is to keep the tenants happy and resolve any issues that they have at the property. Also, he assists our clients to identify suitable properties for rent or purchase and negotiate the terms with the property owners. He is fast, reliable and responsive.
